Spyro Adventure 2

Play Sonic Adventure 2's real stages with Spyro Reignited Trilogy brought in from your own copy.

What you get

• Rings become Spyro's gems. Every ring is a red (1), green (2), blue (5), gold (10) or purple (25) gem, with Spyro's own gem-collect chime and a gem counter. Your best total for each stage is saved.
• Spyro's level music in Sonic's and Shadow's stages: City Escape gets Stone Hill, Metal Harbor Sunny Beach, Green Forest Tree Tops, Radical Highway Twilight Harbor, White Jungle Misty Bog, Final Rush Crystal Flight, Pyramid Cave Dry Canyon, Crazy Gadget Lofty Castle, Sky Rail Alpine Ridge and Final Chase Haunted Towers. SA2's own music player streams it, so your volume settings and jingles still work.
• Spyro's moves for Sonic and Shadow:
  • Charge: hold X (keyboard: Shift) to run at charge speed and ram enemies.
  • Flame: press Y (keyboard: E) to breathe fire that burns enemies in front of you.
  • Both use Spyro's own charge, flame and headbash sounds.

Needs: Sonic Adventure 2 (Steam) and Spyro Reignited Trilogy, both installed. Single player.

How it works: on your first Play, Melty reads the music and sounds from your Spyro install and decodes them on your PC (about 60 MB in %LOCALAPPDATA%\SpyroAdventure2). Nothing from either game is included in the download. It works with or without the SA2 Mod Loader.

Credits: vgmstream (bundled, unchanged, under its own licence) decodes the Spyro audio. SA2 addresses come from the X-Hax SA2 Mod Loader headers. Sonic Adventure 2 © SEGA; Spyro Reignited Trilogy © Activision / Toys for Bob. This is an unofficial fan mashup.
