A Balatro run through Slay the Spire 2's first act. Pick a Spire character, fight Act 1 monsters
as your Blinds, and collect Spire relics as Jokers. Everything from Slay the Spire 2 - the relics'
art, names and text, the monsters, the bosses and the character portraits - is read from your own
installed copy of Slay the Spire 2 while the game runs. None of it ships with this mod.
What you get
Character select at the start of every run: The Ironclad, The Silent, The Defect, The Regent or
The Necrobinder, with their real portraits. Each starts with their StS2 starting relic as a Joker and a
twist on your run (hands, discards, hand size, Joker slots or money).
Spire monsters as Blinds. Small Blinds are Act 1 (Overgrowth) monster encounters, Big Blinds are
Act 1 elites (Bygone Effigy, Byrdonis, Phrog Parasite), drawn from the monsters' own art. Each shows its
real intent, and its HP sets how many chips you need.
Spire bosses as Boss Blinds, each bending the rules the way it fights in the Spire:
Vantom - Slippery: the first 8 cards you play are debuffed.
Ceremonial Beast - Ringing: your first hand must be a single card. Plow: once it drops below
150/252 HP it is Stunned and your next hand gets X2 Mult.
The Kin - Dark Ritual: each hand after the first raises its HP by 10%.
30 relics as Jokers with their StS2 art, names and descriptions, each with a Balatro effect:
5 character starting relics, 17 relics in the shop (Vajra, Anchor, Lantern, Pen Nib, Shuriken,
Ice Cream, Lizard Tail, Stone Calendar, Membership Card and more), and 8 Ancient relics.
Ancient Offering: after every Spire boss the shop has a free pack - choose 1 of 3 Ancient relics
(Ectoplasm, Sozu, Philosopher's Stone, Snecko Eye, Pumpkin Candle, Throwing Axe, Signet Ring,
Very Hot Cocoa).
The score target is shown as Enemy HP.
Single player.
Requirements
Balatro (Steam), with the lovely-injector loader (Melty installs it for you).
Slay the Spire 2 installed through Steam on the same PC. The mod finds it through Steam's library
folders. If it isn't installed, the game says so on the main menu and plays as normal Balatro.
If your copy is somewhere Steam doesn't list, set the environment variable SPIRE_JOKERS_STS2_DIR
to its folder.
Tested with Balatro 1.0.1o, Slay the Spire 2 v0.107.1 and lovely-injector 0.10.0.
