Wizard101 comes to the Lands Between. Pick a school of magic at any Site of Grace and fight your way through Elden Ring as a Wizard101 wizard, with Wizard101's own spells, creatures, gear, music and sounds.
Everything from Wizard101 is read from your own Wizard101 install while you play. Wizard101 never starts, and none of either game's files are included. Wizard101 downloads some content only as you visit places in it, so the more of it your copy has, the more you'll see.
Your wizard
- Choose Fire, Ice, Storm, Myth, Life, Death or Balance; level up the Wizard101 way and learn spells from your school's professor
- Your Tarnished becomes a Wizard101 wizard in real Wizard101 gear dyed in your school's colours
- Health and mana numbers on Elden Ring's bars, pips under your stamina, and your level and school beside your portrait
Card combat, in real time
- A 7-card hand from your deck; pips build up as you fight
- Creature spells summon the real Wizard101 creature with its effects and sounds. Big ones (Kraken, Storm Lord...) hit everything in reach
- Shields, blades and charms float around whoever has them until they're used. Your shields also block Elden Ring attacks of their element
- Tap LB for a basic wand attack that costs FP; hover a card to see exactly what it does
- School matchups, Treasure Cards, and drops
The world, recast
- Enemies become Wizard101 creatures of matching toughness and build (flyers become flyers) and cast from their own Wizard101 decks
- Story bosses stay vanilla Elden Ring. Beat one, rest at a Grace nearby, and its Wizard101 counterpart takes the arena: Margit becomes Foulgaze, Godrick becomes Lord Nightshade, Rennala becomes Krokopatra, and more. Each rematch drops its own Wizard101 loot and returns an hour after every defeat
