Play Elden Ring as Hi-Fi RUSH's Chai: guitar combos on the beat, with Peppermint as your only backup.
Step into the Lands Between as Chai. His model, guitar, combos, dash, magnet grapple and Rhythm Gauge special attacks come straight from your own copy of Hi-Fi RUSH, with his own animations, sounds and voice.
Fight to the beat. Hi-Fi RUSH's own battle songs play from your copy while you explore. Hits that land on the beat do more damage and fill the Rhythm Gauge faster, and Chai's attacks speed up to match each song's tempo.
Peppermint has your back. She's your only partner. Tap Guard and she pops in for a blaster burst that breaks guards and shields. Hold it for a charged launcher shot that staggers bosses. Tap it during a combo pause for a team-up.
Elden Ring stays Elden Ring. The world, enemies and bosses don't change. Your hits are real Elden Ring hits, so enemies stagger, bleed and drop runes like normal.
Controls (using your own Elden Ring bindings): Attack = light, Strong Attack = heavy (hold it to charge), Guard = Peppermint, Skill = magnet grapple, Crouch = special attack, Switch Sorcery = change special. Roll, jump and lock-on work as usual. On Torrent you play the Tarnished.
Needs: Elden Ring 2.7.2 and Hi-Fi RUSH, both installed through Steam. The first Play reads Chai, Peppermint and 8 songs from your Hi-Fi RUSH folder into this mashup's own folder. That takes under a minute and about 750 MB of space. Nothing from either game is included in the download.
Single player and offline: Melty starts Elden Ring through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat turned off.
