Palden Ring turns the Lands Between into a creature-catching game. Weaken an enemy, lock on and cast a spell at it: a bolt flies out, a rot pot shakes up to three times, and with luck it's yours. Every catch keeps its Elden Ring name and look, takes its element, stats and growth from a creature in your own Palworld install, and fights beside you.
What's in it
- Catch anything, bosses included (a boss catch counts as a defeat). The Ancient Spell never misses.
- A party of 5 Eldens: call one out anywhere, swap on the fly, and set it to Attack, Follow or Stay. It runs at whatever you lock on to.
- Eldens level up from everything you and they defeat, growing from weaklings into late-game fighters. They heal while resting and out of combat.
- Element matchups: Fire beats Grass, Water beats Fire, and so on.
- Two difficulties: Creative (strong Eldens, free crafting) and Hard (balanced growth, spells only from enemies).
- The Eldenbox pauses the game: your Eldens, Items, a Workbench for crafting spells, the Eldendeck and Settings.
- A new look built from Elden Ring's own menu art (read from your install), rotting with Scarlet Rot and dusted with Erdtree gold.
Controls (controller first)
Hold View (the map button), then: RB cast, LB call/recall your Elden, D-pad Left/Right switch Elden, D-pad Up/Down switch spell, X behaviour, Y Eldenbox. Dodge cancels a cast. The HUD only shows while you hold View. Keyboard: G cast, V Elden, B/N switch Elden, T/H spell, J behaviour, P Eldenbox.
Good to know
- Needs Elden Ring (2.7.1.0) and Palworld installed. Palworld doesn't run; Palden Ring reads its data.
- Offline single-player: Melty starts Elden Ring through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat off.
- Your Palden Ring progress is saved separately in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PalRing; your Elden Ring save is not changed. Catches from earlier versions carry over.
- Early release (0.1.x): updates are coming - feedback welcome!
