Overwatch Fortress

RED is TF2. BLU is Overwatch.

A payload war on Badwater where the BLU team are Overwatch heroes, one per TF2 class, built on your PC from your own copy of Overwatch 2 the first time you press Play.

The heroes

• Scout is Tracer, Soldier is Soldier: 76, Pyro is Mei, Demoman is Junkrat, Heavy is Reinhardt, Engineer is Torbjörn, Medic is Mercy, Sniper is Widowmaker, Spy is Sombra.
• Each hero is their real Overwatch model with their weapon in hand, moving with their own Overwatch idle, run, strafe and crouch animations.
• They talk in their own voices: hero select, respawn, eliminations, pain, death, calling for healing, and their ultimate line when they taunt.

Play it your way

• Pick RED to fight as TF2's mercs, or BLU to play as the Overwatch heroes. Bots fill both teams.
• Play together, up to 24 players: your game opens through Steam's relay (no port forwarding). Melty shows friends your game's address; they join with connect <address> in TF2's console.

You need Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch 2 installed. Nothing from either game is included: on first Play, the mashup reads the heroes from your Overwatch 2 with DataTool (overtools, MIT) and compiles them with TF2's own tools. That first setup takes a few minutes. Your Overwatch 2 install is only read, never changed, and Overwatch is not started.

Runs on a local TF2 server only (VScript game mode).
