Play Minecraft inside the Mojave: Steve's physics, hotbar and chat in New Vegas.
Play Minecraft inside Fallout: New Vegas. Load a save outdoors and you're Steve in the Mojave: Minecraft's physics carry you over New Vegas's ground, rocks and roofs, and Minecraft's hotbar, hearts and hand replace New Vegas's HUD. Mine, place blocks, open your inventory (E), chat with T and run commands with /.
New Vegas keeps what it needs: Esc for its pause menu, Tab for the Pip-Boy, R to open doors, talk and loot, and B to switch back to New Vegas controls.
Press J to salvage your junk into Minecraft materials: scrap metal into stone bricks and iron, tin cans into sandstone, and 14 kinds of junk in all. Builds unlock Courier perks: a farm sends fresh food every day, a house (bed, door and roof) gives +25 carry weight, and a lit beacon brings 100 caps a day. Finishing Goodsprings-area quests drops Fallout-themed chests next to you.
Single player. You need Fallout: New Vegas and a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. The first Play asks you to sign in once, then downloads Minecraft by itself.
