Liberty City in GMod

Open the spawn menu and there's a new GTA IV tab: every character model from your own GTA IV: The Complete Edition (GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, about 540 in all), ready to drop into Garry's Mod.

What you get

• Real GTA IV characters. Niko Bellic, Johnny Klebitz and Luis Lopez, Roman, Little Jacob, Brucie, Packie, Gay Tony and the rest of the story cast, plus LCPD and NOOSE, the Lost, the Angels of Death, Russian and Italian mobsters and Liberty City's pedestrians. Each one uses its real GTA IV mesh and textures.
• Ragdolls. Click a character to spawn a full ragdoll with 15 physics bones and joint limits, ready for the physics gun and posing. Bones use ValveBiped names, so the Finger Poser works.
• Outfits. Each character's GTA IV variations (heads, upper bodies, legs, hair, accessories) are bodygroups you can switch from the context menu.
• Follower NPCs. Right-click a character and choose Spawn as NPC. Press Use on it and it walks after you, and runs to catch up. Press Use again and it waits. When killed, it falls as a ragdoll.
• Sorted by episode, then into playable characters, story characters, police & services, gangs & bikers, women and men.

How it works Nothing from GTA IV is included in the download. On your first Play, Melty runs the mashup's converter: it reads the characters from your own installed GTA IV and compiles them into Garry's Mod models with Garry's Mod's own tools. That takes about 2 minutes and about 700 MB. Later plays start straight away.

Needs: Garry's Mod and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition, both installed. Single player.
