Hook a real How to Fish creature in Minecraft—and fight your catch.
A solo Minecraft Java island adventure using the real Clownfish from your installed How to Fish. Start with a fishing rod and sword, cast from the dock, fight the creature you hook, earn emeralds and wood, and spend two emeralds at the camp bell to unlock a lantern dock. Build your camp with the rewards; catches and the dock upgrade persist. This first prototype includes one island, one creature and one camp upgrade.
Requires Windows, a Minecraft Java account, Minecraft 1.20.1 in the dedicated Prism instance, and an installed How to Fish copy matching the supported Unity 6000.4.4f1 build. The content reader loads the companion creature's real mesh and material texture into memory. No original game assets or account credentials are included. Prism Launcher and Java are fetched from their official publishers with pinned SHA-256 checksums. First launch requires the owner to sign in personally.
Original mod code is MIT licensed; remixes are allowed. Minecraft: Mojang Studios. How to Fish: Dazed Games. Fabric: FabricMC. Prism Launcher: Prism contributors. Java: Eclipse Temurin/OpenJDK. Version 0.1.3 fixes the Minecraft account setup handoff, including when Prism is already open. It passed two two-minute Melty install and gameplay tests: content loading, actual fishing/combat/reward assertions, the paid camp upgrade, startup, mod loading, responsiveness and no-crash/error checks. The listing screenshots were captured from real Minecraft gameplay.
