A Schedule I grow op inside your Scam office: grow, mix, cook, deal, fake-deliver and fight off raids.
You play Scam With Your Friends. Schedule I's grow loop, seeds, plants, guns and people come in from your own copy of Schedule I. Nothing from either game ships with the mashup.
| Key | Action | |---|---| | E | Use what you're looking at: doors, pots, Albert, the Handbook, stations, packing table, stash, coffee machine, coworkers, dealers, a delivery drop | | F | Put fertilizer on the plant you're looking at | | G | Put Speed Grow on the plant you're looking at | | B | Open or close the burner phone (also where the host changes the quota and day length) | | Hold P | Pee (Scam's own). Aim at a planted pot to boost it | | U | Use something on yourself (product or an ingredient) | | Y | Use the last thing you used again (shown at the bottom of the status box) | | Esc | Close any menu |
Your status (clout, heat, suspicion, warnings, dirty cash, what you're on, goals) shows top left; your pockets show as Schedule I item icons at the bottom ("+2" = a bag with two mixed-in effects).
| Item | Price | What it does | |---|---|---| | Plastic Pot / Soil | $20 / $10 | Another pot spot (up to 12) / fills a pot for 3 harvests | | Grow Light | $60 | +25% growth for 3 pots (up to 4) | | Fertilizer / Speed Grow | $30 / $30 | +2 buds / skips 30% of the remaining growth | | Baggies ×10 | $10 | One per bud | | Knife | $60 | Cheap melee weapon (Schedule I's knife): one stab knocks an officer down | | Seeds | $30–$45 | OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Green Crack, Granddaddy Purple | | Coca seed / Spore Syringe | $50 / $60 | Coca leaves for cocaine (day 3) / shrooms | | Pseudo / Acid / Phosphorus | $50 / $30 / $30 | Meth ingredients (day 3) | | Ingredients | $1–$9 | See Mixing | | Grow Rack / Sprinklers / LED Lights / Moisture Pots / Security Camera | $600 / $400 / $500 / $300 / $350 | See Grow room upgrades | | M1911 / Pump Shotgun | $150 / $400 | Guns for raids (Schedule I models); the M1911 is semi-auto | | Gold M1911 | $750 | A giant golden glitch gun: sprays a long burst and sends you flying. Always comes back to your hand | | Door Barricade / Taser Vest | $150 / $120 | Officers must kick the barricade down (~12 s, shoot through the gaps) / stops 3 taser hits | | Botanist / Dealer | $200 (+$100 a day) / $300–$500 | See Botanists and Dealers |
Growth takes 4–5½ minutes.
The Handbook on Albert's counter (E) has the mixing guide and today's demand.
Drug sales, dealers, deliveries and officer cash pay Dirty Cash, an item in your pockets that does not count for the quota. Albert, Vinny, the cops and the rivals take it (spent before your wallet), and it goes in the stash to trade. Vinny Ledger stands by Albert's counter: E on him to launder it into quota money (it also reaches your wallet, like a scam).
| Upgrade (from Vinny) | Cost | You get back | Daily limit | |---|---|---|---| | None | - | 50% | $800 | | Shell Company | $600 | 60% | $2,000 | | Offshore Account | $1,500 | 70% | $5,000 | | Crypto Mixer | $3,500 | 80% | none |
E at the Mixing Station, pick a bag, then an ingredient: each adds its Schedule I effect and value (up to 8 effects). Coworkers who crave an effect pay 20% extra. Ingredients can also be used on their own with U.
Effect = ingredient: Energizing = Cuke, Gingeritis = Banana, Sneaky = Paracetamol, Calorie-Dense = Donut, Tropic Thunder = Viagra, Balding = Mouth Wash, Sedating = Flu Medicine, Toxic = Gasoline, Athletic = Energy Drink, Slippery = Motor Oil, Foggy = Mega Bean, Spicy = Chili, Bright-Eyed = Battery, Jennerising = Iodine, Thought-Provoking = Addy, Long Faced = Horse Semen, Caffeinated = Office Coffee (Office Blend). Ingredients cost $1–$9 and add 0–52% value; the Handbook has the full list.
Press U for the use menu: everything usable with its upside, downside and duration. Y repeats the last one.
Everyone sees you use it: smoke clouds, snorting, crumbs, drinks tipped back.
Mixed bags give the base effect plus half of each mixed-in ingredient's (OG Kush + Chili: +30% trust, +10% barter, −35% speed, plus +15% speed, +5% barter, −10% trust). Comedowns follow meth and cocaine; taking more puts them off. Stacking: the same thing again makes it stronger (up to 2×) and restarts the timer.
| Item | How you take it | Lasts | Upside | Downside | What you see | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | OG Kush (bud or bag) | Smoke (joint) | 60s | +30% trust, +10% barter, wider vision (+6°) | -35% speed | green haze, gentle sway | | Sour Diesel (bud or bag) | Smoke (joint) | 60s | +20% trust, +20% barter | -25% speed, +30% heat | green haze, gentle sway | | Green Crack (bud or bag) | Smoke (joint) | 50s | +35% speed, +10% trust | stumbling | shaky view | | Granddaddy Purple (bud or bag) | Smoke (joint) | 75s | +45% trust, -30% heat | -55% speed, narrower vision (-8°) | purple glow, slow sway | | Meth (loose or bagged) | Smoke (pipe) | 45s | +65% speed, +40% barter, wider vision (+15°) | -40% trust, +50% heat, stumbling, then a 25s comedown: -40% speed, -15% trust, -15% barter, narrower vision (-10°) | shaky, flickering view | | Cocaine (loose or bagged) | Snort | 35s | +85% speed, +25% barter, wider vision (+12°) | -35% trust, +30% heat, then a 20s comedown: -30% speed, -20% barter, narrower vision (-6°) | glaring white flashes | | Coca leaf | Chew | 45s | +20% speed | -15% barter | no screen effect | | Cuke | Drink | 30s | +25% speed | -10% trust | no screen effect | | Banana | Eat | 40s | +15% trust | -10% barter | everything tinted orange | | Paracetamol | Swallow | 60s | -35% heat | narrower vision (-10°) | dim screen, dark edges | | Donut | Eat | 45s | +20% trust | -25% speed | no screen effect | | Viagra | Swallow | 40s | +15% speed, +25% barter | -25% trust | colour-cycling screen, swaying | | Mouth Wash | Drink | 40s | +25% trust | -15% barter | no screen effect | | Flu Medicine | Drink | 50s | +10% trust, -20% heat | -45% speed | heavy blinking | | Gasoline | Drink | 25s | +50% speed | -45% trust, stumbling | green tint, wobbling hard | | Energy Drink | Drink | 40s | +45% speed | -5% trust, stumbling | shaky view | | Motor Oil | Drink | 35s | +35% speed | stumbling | no screen effect | | Mega Bean | Eat | 45s | -40% heat | narrower vision (-12°) | thick fog | | Chili | Eat | 35s | +30% speed, +10% barter | -20% trust | red pulsing, shaking | | Battery | Chew | 30s | +10% barter, wider vision (+22°) | stumbling | electric flashes | | Iodine | Drink | 40s | +20% trust | +15% heat | rainbow waves, melting view | | Addy | Swallow | 45s | +35% barter | -10% trust, narrower vision (-14°) | tunnel vision | | Horse Semen | Drink | 40s | +35% barter | -30% trust | the world stretches tall | | Shrooms (loose or bagged) | Eat | 70s | +25% trust | -15% speed, -15% barter, stumbling | breathing colours, rainbow ripples, the room sways | | Office Coffee | Drink | 45s | +20% speed, +10% barter | stumbling (shaky hands) | shaky view |
Each thing you're on counts 1 (a doubled dose 1.5, tripled 2). Past 3.6 (for example four different things) you pass out for 6 seconds and wake with a 45-second hangover (-25% speed, -15% trust, -10% barter, narrower vision, stumbling, dim screen). Half the time a coworker also takes one item from your pockets.
Hold P (Scam's own pee) while facing a planted pot, up close, for a second: it grows 50% faster and gives +2 buds at harvest (a ripe pot still gets the buds). Scam's random pees count too. The soil turns yellowish. Once per grow.
E on the stash: your pockets and the stash side by side, with 1 / 5 / 10 / All buttons each way, plus "Put all my product in" and "Take everything". Everyone shares it, so it's how you trade with friends. Botanists harvest into it; it's safe from desk inspections.
Buy a Spore Syringe from Albert ($60) and plant it like a seed (carry no weed seeds, or those get planted first). Water it; about 5 minutes later harvest 6 shrooms. Bag and sell them, or eat them (U).
E on the coffee machine on Albert's counter pours a free cup (carry up to three). Drink it (U) for speed and barter, or mix it into a bag for an Office Blend, which coworkers pay half again for.
Coworkers you keep selling to go hooked → regular → best customer: they crave more often and pay 15% more per level. Without supply they go into comic withdrawal (muttering, napping, flopping on the carpet). Their calls and the quota are never affected. Sell to them again and they snap out of it.
Each coworker sale adds +6% suspicion, each dealer sale +2%, using product outside the grow room +10%; it fades slowly (shown in the status box). At 100% you get a 30-second desk inspection warning: get into the grow room or put your product in the stash or with a dealer. Anyone outside the grow room still carrying product loses it and is fined $150. Afterwards suspicion resets to 25%.
One each from Albert, kept all game: Grow Rack ($600, 6 more pots on the back wall, 18 in all), Sprinklers ($400, plants never drop below half water), LED Grow Lights ($500, lit pots +50% instead of +25%), Moisture-Preserving Pots ($300, water drains half as fast), Security Camera ($350, 60 seconds of raid warning instead of 15).
From day 2, now and then (more with more clout), a RIVAL CREW of two runs in through the raid corridor for your stash after a 20-second warning. One hit downs each. If one reaches the stash they take half of it. Or pay them off for $150 on the phone (B).
Three team goals a day (like "Sell 6 bags to coworkers"), shown at the top left and on the phone; each pays $150 to every player. Plus 15 achievements saved on your PC, listed on the phone.
About 1 in 12 calls the caller is high: stoned, wired or tripping, and a little more trusting. You get a message when it happens.
Hire Schedule I's dealers from Albert (up to 3): Benji Coleman or Molly Presley ($300, 20% cut), Brad Crosby or Jane Lucero ($400, 18%), Wei Long or Leo Rivers ($500, 15%). E on one to hand over all your bags; every 20 seconds each sells to a coworker who wants something they carry. You get the money minus their cut, plus clout.
Up to 2 botanists water and harvest half the pots each, into the staff stash (collect from the stash). Wages ($100 a day) come out of your wallet; unpaid, they quit.
At the end-of-day review: if the back room made money, everyone gets a 10% bonus on the day's sales; if the police got through, a firing scare (just a scare).
Off unless you press Take delivery jobs on the phone. Accept one and a DROP marker appears on the office floor: get there within 2½ minutes with the product and press E for double the street price, less heat and +1 clout. No penalty.
By default the daily quota is x1.5 and each day lasts x1.75 compared with normal Scam With Your Friends. The host can change both, in steps of x0.5, x0.75, x1, x1.25, x1.5, x1.75, x2, x2.5 and x3 of the game's normal values:
Solo or co-op with up to 8 players. Everyone needs the mashup, and the host runs the grow room. Everyone shares the plants, cravings, raids, goals and phone offers, and everyone sees each other use product.
Scam With Your Friends and Schedule I, installed through Steam (Schedule I needn't be running). Play from Melty: launched from Steam you get the normal game, because the mod switches itself off. Before the first start Melty spends under a minute reading Schedule I's models, icons, characters and prices, and a few of Scam's office pieces, from your copies. It adds a small loader (Unity Doorstop's winhttp.dll) and a GrowOpCallCenter folder to the game folder and changes none of the game's files.
