Kingdom Hearts II's Sora takes on the Lands Between.
Most problems people hit come from one of these steps. Check them first.
1. You need both games installed on this PC
2. Press Play in Melty and wait on the first start The first time, Melty sets up Sora from your KH files before the game opens. This takes a minute or two. Don't close it while it's working.
3. Start a NEW character and pick the class "Keyblade Wielder" That class is Sora. Old characters won't turn into Sora. Your normal Elden Ring saves are backed up and left alone, because Sora uses his own save file.
4. Play offline, through Melty only The mod runs offline with Easy Anti-Cheat off. Always start it with Melty's Play button, never from Steam directly. Turn off other Elden Ring mods or mashups while you play this one.
5. Learn the controls A tutorial opens at the start. Press F1 any time to see it again. A controller is recommended (Xbox or PlayStation). Attack is A / Cross. X / Square is guard when standing still, dodge with the stick, and an alternate finisher during a combo. The D-pad picks Magic, Items and Drive Forms.
