Dark World Hustle

Deltarune Chapter 1, but the fights are YOMI Hustle.

You play Deltarune as normal: Kris, Susie and Ralsei walk the Dark World, talk, solve puzzles. The moment a regular battle starts (Rudinns, Hathys, Ponmen, Rabbicks, Bloxers, Jigsawrys, Clovers, Rudinn Rangers, Head Hathys...), Deltarune parks its battle menu and hands the fight to Your Only Move Is HUSTLE, running beside it:

1. The HUSTLE window comes forward on its character select. Pick your fighter: Ninja, Cowboy, Wizard or Robot.
2. The enemy is a CPU-controlled HUSTLE fighter standing in for the Deltarune monster (Rudinns are Ninjas, Hathys are Wizards, Rabbicks and Clovers are Cowboys, Bloxers and Ponmen are Robots...). Its starting health and how hard it presses come from the monster's Deltarune stats, and there is more of it when the encounter has two or three enemies.
3. Fight the turn-based HUSTLE duel. Win, and Deltarune resumes with the enemies out of the fight (counted like a spare, never as violence) and the usual EXP and D$. Lose, and Kris falls: Deltarune's game over.

Story battles (the training dummy, Lancer, Susie & Lancer, K.Round, King, Jevil, the Hathy event) stay Deltarune battles in this version.

What you need

• Deltarune on Steam, version 1.0.0.2 (the Chapters 1-5 release). Your install is never modified: on the first start a patched copy of Chapter 1 is built in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DarkWorldHustle from your own files, with its own save slots. Music streams from your real mus folder.
• Your Only Move Is HUSTLE on Steam. Its own mod loader loads the HUSTLE half from its mods folder; it does nothing unless Deltarune hands it a fight.
• Melty starts both games with one Play. If HUSTLE is not running, battles simply stay Deltarune battles.

Controls

Deltarune as usual. In HUSTLE: click a move, Lock In (Space). The CPU takes the enemy's turns.
