Become CARRION in Noita: feed, grow, evolve, and steal enemy forms.
Become CARRION's growing flesh monster inside Noita's caves. Crawl across surfaces, bend a tentacle around corners to drag prey and objects, and feed to build biomass. Real creature artwork, health cells and sounds are loaded from your installed CARRION copy while Noita supplies its world, physics, liquids, enemies and wands.
This is a solo Windows beta requiring both Noita and CARRION.
Move with WASD, hold left mouse to grab and steer a tentacle, and release to drop or throw. Bring edible prey and the cursor into your body to feed. E uses held objects or buys a nearby card. Purchased powers appear along the bottom with their current key bindings: right mouse for harpoons, Shift for drilling, I for camouflage and G for acid.
Startup requirements: Noita’s “Unsafe mods” support is required to read CARRION’s installed content. Melty’s launcher enables it for this session and restores your previous setting afterward. Version 1.1.1 also prepares Steam’s direct-launch metadata so Noita can retain the mashup’s launch settings on a fresh setup. Both games must be installed.
The launcher keeps a separate mashup save and preserves your ordinary Noita run. Close Noita before starting this profile. Tested game builds: Noita Jan 25, 2025 / Steam build 17130612 and CARRION Steam build 9877347; other versions are not broadly certified. Acid spit corrodes softer terrain, preserves metal/harder materials and gradually evaporates; it currently does not reliably damage enemies. Balance and long-run behavior remain beta work.
