Mahoraga: Adapt to Anything

Mahoraga, the Eight-Handled Wheel now waits in a temple arena carved into the eastern edge of the world. There's a new one in every parallel world, and each one is tougher than the last.

The fight

• He adapts to anything. Keep hitting him with the same kind of damage (projectiles, fire, explosions, electricity, ice, slicing and more) and the golden wheel above his head turns. He heals and becomes immune to that kind of damage, so you have to keep switching elements.
• Destructive attacks: Sword of Extermination sends terrain-cutting slashes, Crushing Leap crashes down with a crater-making blast and flying rubble, and Unstoppable Charge digs straight through walls at you. Below half health the wheel spins faster: he attacks more often and adds Wheel Pulse, rings of holy light.
• A boss health bar, his own arena, and gold plus a guaranteed reward when he falls.

The reward: Adapt to Anything (exclusive perk) A small wheel floats above you. Each time you take enough of one kind of harm, your wheel turns and that kind hurts you 50% less, up to 3 times per type. This perk only drops from Mahoraga.

Finding him: head east across the desert, past the pyramid, until you reach the world's edge. The arena's doorway faces west. In a parallel world, go to that world's east edge.
