Solo isometric caster battles in Minecraft: four classes, BG3 spell rules, metre movement and independent combat resources.
Wizardcraft brings solo, isometric, turn-based caster battles to Minecraft Java, with spell rules read from your installed Baldur's Gate 3.
Choose Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock or Druid. Use the staff or press C to open tactical controls. Left-click a target, choose a spell and cast; right-click the ground to move. Escape returns to the normal camera.
Version 0.3.0 includes 15 spells plus Shield reactions, independent actions/bonus actions/reactions, movement in metres, Dash, Disengage, Shove, opportunity attacks, Threatened, Frost, Bone Chill, Shocking Grasp and Hex concentration. Cantrips consume no spell slots. An action spell and a bonus-action spell can both be cast in the same turn. The interface shows the current turn, initiative, remaining resources and supported conditions.
Seven enemy loadouts have their own resources: Fighter raider, Rogue archer, fast spider, Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock and Druid. Casters spend slots and switch to cantrips; eligible enemy casters can react with Shield. Player class features include adapted Arcane Recovery, Twinned Spell, Pact Renewal and a bear stance using Minecraft's polar bear appearance.
This is a playable level-two preview with an original interface. Full BG3 UI, leveling, equipment inventory, upcasting, complete subclasses, additional concentration spells and general surfaces are unfinished. Enemy class features are partial. Hex free retargeting and Shield prompts on opportunity attacks are pending.
Requires Minecraft Java and an installed copy of BG3. Your BG3 installation is read only; no BG3 archives or account files are included. Solo worlds only. Use /wizardcraft practice in a new disposable Creative world to build the arena; that command clears its footprint.
Original code and staff artwork use the MIT license. Reuse and remixes are allowed with credit. Unofficial project; Minecraft belongs to Mojang/Microsoft and BG3 to Larian Studios and its licensors.
