Balatro's blinds and Jokers, played on Ultrapool's table.
You play Ultrapool. Every table is now a blind: Small Blind, Big Blind, then a Boss Blind with a rule twist, three antes to win a run. Between tables, Ultrapool's shop also sells Balatro Jokers, Tarot and Planet cards and booster packs, and a Balatro ball set joins Ultrapool's own.
What you get
- Blinds and antes. Each table is a Small, Big or Boss Blind with its own score target and payout.
A run is 3 antes (9 tables); the longest difficulty is 6 antes.
- 4 Boss Blinds. The Wall, The Needle, The Manacle and The Flint, each with a rule twist.
- 45 Jokers, bought in the shop and held 5 at a time. Drag them to reorder (it matters for
Blueprint and Ceremonial Dagger); right-click to sell in the shop. Pockets are your Mult and Chips.
- Joker editions. Foil, Holographic and Polychrome, from The Wheel of Fortune, Aura and Hex.
- All 22 Tarot cards. Hold 2 and click to use. Balatro's suit Tarots have no suits to change
here, so The Star, Moon, Sun and World do pool things instead (Chips, shots, Mult, bring a ball back).
- 12 Planet cards. Each levels up one or more of the six pockets for the rest of the run.
- 9 Spectral cards, found in Spectral Packs.
- 15 booster packs. Arcana, Celestial, Buffoon, Standard and Spectral, each in normal, Jumbo and
Mega (pick 2) sizes.
- Skip a blind for a Tag. Skip a Small or Big Blind from the shop, give up its payout, and take
the Tag on offer.
- The Balatro ball set. 18 balls that work like any Ultrapool set: the shop offers the set with
its own poster, the balls have rarities and five levels, and their text shows in Ultrapool's own
ball card. Ten are card balls (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Joker, Chip, Pair, Flush, Straight, Tarot);
eight are Balatro enhancements (Bonus, Mult, Glass, Gold, Lucky, Wild, Steel, Stone).
- A Balatro deck in the Start Run menu, to begin a run with the set.
- Balatro's music. Balatro's score replaces Ultrapool's music, with its shop, boss and pack
themes. Ultrapool's music slider controls it.
- Balatro's look. Card, pack and Tag art, blind chips and the font are read from your own
Balatro at launch.
- Solo. Runs save and resume.
What you need
- Ultrapool (Steam) and Balatro (Steam), both installed. Nothing else.
How it runs
Press Play in Melty. The launcher finds your Ultrapool, makes a private mirror of it inside the mashup's
own folder (hard links, so it takes no extra disk space when on the same drive), and starts that mirror
with the mashup loaded. Neither game's install folder is changed, and nothing from either game is
included in this download.
Your normal Ultrapool is kept separate:
- The mashup has its own save. Your real progress is copied in once so your unlocks carry over, and is
never written to.
- Steam achievements, leaderboards, daily results and analytics are switched off while the mashup runs.
- Daily and creative runs play by Ultrapool's normal rules.

##TODO
Probably will balance the game better at some point, and add some more balls.
