Challenge a Minecraft mob with a Duel Banner and fight it for real in Half Sword Demo, with your Minecraft gear turned into steel.
Minecraft and Half Sword Demo open side by side, and settle their scores together.
Plant the Duel Banner (white banner + iron sword) on any hostile mob, and the fight moves into Half Sword Demo. The mob turns into a real Half Sword fighter, spawned from your own copy of the game: zombies, skeletons and creepers come as peasants, while pillagers, vindicators, evokers, wither skeletons, endermen and ravagers become the demo's boss fighters, up to the golden Baron.
Your Minecraft gear becomes Half Sword steel, in your hands and on your body when the fight starts:
The outcome counts in Minecraft. Win, and the mob dies there with its normal loot plus a trophy (its head, where Minecraft has one). Lose, and you were "cut down in Half Sword".
Minecraft pauses while you fight, and each game comes to the front when it's its turn. Single player. Needs Minecraft: Java Edition and Half Sword Demo (free on Steam). The first Play sets up the mashup's own Minecraft 1.21.1, which takes a few minutes.
