Subnautica (the first game, Steam or Epic) and Titanfall 2 (Steam or EA app).
This mod runs inside Subnautica and reads every Titanfall model, sound and texture from your own Titanfall 2 install. It ships no Titanfall files, so it won't install without Subnautica and won't work without Titanfall 2.
Drop onto planet 4546B as a Titanfall 2 Pilot. Wallrun across reef rocks, double-jump out of kelp forests, slide down sand dunes, then call your Titan in from orbit and walk it along the seafloor while leviathans circle.
Everything Titanfall comes from your own Titanfall 2 install: the guns, Pilot arms, Titans, cockpits, animations, sounds, voice lines, UI art and subtitles are all read live from your copy of the game. No Titanfall files are shipped.
What you get
- 28 TF2 weapons with their real stats, viewmodels, reloads and sounds: R-201, Kraber, EVA-8, Archer, Thunderbolt, Smart Pistol and more, with optics, mods, weapon mastery ranks and TF2 camos
- Jump kit movement: double jump, wallrunning, sliding, grapple, Stim, Phase Shift, A-Wall, Holo Pilot, plus frags, Arc grenades, Firestars, Satchels and more
- 8 Titans (BT-7274, Ion, Tone, Northstar, Ronin, Scorch, Legion, Monarch) with cores, dashes, defensive abilities, kits and Prime skins won by killing leviathans
- TF2 cockpit with the boot-up sequence, a doomed state, ejection, batteries, Auto-Titan follow/guard, and Titan modules to fabricate: sonar, leviathan detector, night vision, auto-repair, pressure plating and more
- Survival meets Titanfall: crush depth for your Titan, leviathan proximity warnings, hotdrops through the water column, pressure frost and canopy cracks
- Progression: 50 levels, XP weighted by what you take down (a Reaper is worth far more than a Peeper), pilot upgrades, bounty contracts from Sarah Briggs with supply drops, an IMC bestiary of everything you've scanned, and Militia echoes at story signals
- A TF2-style HUD, subtitles, volume sliders, rebindable keys and a first-launch briefing
- IMC operation (1.1): six IMC outposts to clear and hack, intel logs with TF2's own dialogue, the Ark, a MRVN companion, Typhon wildlife through fold rifts, Aegis Titan ranks, Boosts and warpaints
- Apex Predators (1.2): Kane, Ash, Richter, Viper and Slone hunt you in their campaign Titans with their real voice lines and boss music, plus IMC Titans that drop in
- Quality of life (1.2): press E to use things, catch fish and eat or drink on foot, ziplines, a Titan bay at your Moonpool, 30 hidden Pilot helmets, TF2 combat music, difficulty presets
Requirements
- Subnautica (the first game), Steam or Epic. Melty installs BepInEx for you.
- Titanfall 2 installed on the same PC (Steam or EA app). You don't need to launch it; the mod finds it automatically. If it can't, the README explains a one-line fix.
- Not Subnautica: Below Zero or Subnautica 2. Solo play.
Press T to toggle the Pilot kit, L for the loadout and progression menu, and O for settings.
