Bloons TD 6 inside Subnautica: 6 real BTD6 monkeys up to tier 5 vs. Subnautica's sea life, camo and regrow, and a Reaper Leviathan MOAB.
Bloons TD 6, played inside Subnautica. Press Play and Subnautica loads straight into a match: defend a winding track through the Safe Shallows. Back at the main menu, the BTD: 4546B button starts another one.
The Dart Monkey, Boomerang Monkey, Bomb Shooter, Tack Shooter, Ninja Monkey and Sniper Monkey use their real models, portraits, upgrade icons and sounds, read from your own Bloons TD 6 install while you play. Each monkey has two upgrade paths all the way to tier 5, at BTD6's own prices. BTD6's crosspath rule applies: one path can go to tier 5, the other to tier 2.
| Monkey | Top path, tiers 4 / 5 | Middle path, tiers 4 / 5 | |---|---|---| | Dart Monkey | Juggernaut / Ultra-Juggernaut | Super Monkey Fan Club / Plasma Monkey Fan Club | | Tack Shooter | Ring of Fire / Inferno Ring | Blade Maelstrom / Super Maelstrom | | Bomb Shooter | Bloon Impact / Bloon Crush | MOAB Assassin / MOAB Eliminator | | Boomerang Monkey | M.O.A.R. Glaives / Glaive Lord | Turbo Charge / Perma Charge | | Ninja Monkey | Bloonjitsu / Grandmaster Ninja | Bloon Sabotage / Grand Saboteur | | Sniper Monkey | Maim MOAB / Cripple MOAB | Supply Drop / Elite Sniper |
The abilities work as they do in BTD6: Fan Club turns nearby Dart Monkeys super, Blade Maelstrom sprays blades across the map, MOAB Assassin/Eliminator fire a missile at the biggest Reaper, Turbo Charge goes hyper-fast, Bloon Sabotage slows every bloon, and Supply Drop drops a crate of cash. They appear as buttons at the bottom left.
Glaives ricochet from bloon to bloon, and Glaive Lord's glaives circle the monkey; the Sniper hits anywhere on the map, with shrapnel and bouncing bullets; Shinobi Tactics speeds up nearby Ninjas; Bloon Impact, Bloon Crush and Maim MOAB stun.
The bloons are Subnautica's own creatures, and each one pops into the layer below, just as bloons do:
| Bloon | Creature | |---|---| | Red | Peeper | | Blue | Boomerang | | Green | Bladderfish | | Yellow | Hoopfish | | Pink | Spadefish | | Black | Eyeye | | White | Spinefish | | Purple | Jellyray | | Lead | Gasopod | | Zebra | Stalker | | Rainbow | Mesmer | | Ceramic | Bone Shark | | M.O.A.B. | Reaper Leviathan |
Camo bloons are dark, murky and half see-through, and flicker in and out of sight. Only the Ninja Monkey, and a Sniper with Night Vision Goggles, can target them (anything they swim into still pops them). Regrow bloons glow pink and grow back a layer every few seconds, so pop them fast. Both appear exactly where BTD6's rounds have them.
Black and Zebra shrug off explosions, Lead needs bombs, plasma, Hot Shots or a Juggernaut, and Purple can't be burned or hit by plasma.
The rounds follow Bloons TD 6's standard rounds 1–40 and end with the Reaper Leviathan MOAB on round 40. You play by BTD6's Easy rules: $650, 200 lives and Easy prices. Round 40 is a tough finale: spread your towers out, and bring sharp ones for the explosion-proof Zebras inside the MOAB.
Beat it and you can carry on in Freeplay: every round brings more Ceramics, Leads and Reaper MOABs, and bloons get faster and tougher. That's where you'll earn the cash for tier 5s.
