Three Dying Lights in one night - and in one day: Harran's dusk and volatiles, Villedor's pay and infected, Castor Woods' dawn and freaks.
Three Nights: All at Once stops making you choose a night. Dying Light: The Beast's night becomes all three games' nights in the same night, and all three games' night creatures spawn in it.
Press Play and one night opens: dusk starts at Harran's own 19:00 and the world turns over at Harran's own 22:00 (Dying Light 1), the dark pays on Villedor's own terms - +50% experience after dark and +30% more in a chase (Dying Light 2 Stay Human), and the night ends and the day begins on Castor Woods' own 07:00 / 08:00 with The Beast's own night award table. All three games are running at once, in one night, not one after another.
And the night is full of all three games' monsters:
And the day is all three games too. The day is a second, separate spawn layer in every one of the three games, and The Beast's own day files are the same files Dying Light 1 and Dying Light 2 ship (measured on this PC: byte-identical). So the same creatures walk in daylight now: Harran's hive brood, its screamers, its running bomber and its suicide bomber join every day pool its own kind already spawns in, and Villedor's demolisher walks in the day too - each one built from The Beast's own day preset that already spawns that creature, so every behaviour number in it is still The Beast's own, and each joining exactly the pools that preset already spawns in, at a weight that keeps the pool's balance.
And the night gets worse rung by rung. Every creature joins at the aggression levels it belongs to in its own game: the virals, night walkers, hive brood, bolters and screamers from the moment darkness falls; the ram, the spitter, the nest volatile, the hive volatile and the juggernaut once you have stirred the night up; and at the top of the ladder, everything at once - Harran's super and iced volatiles, Villedor's volatile tyrant and corruptor, and Castor Woods' freaks.
What is not in it, and why - the measured answer. The mod brings over everything that lives in the three games' data: creature names, night and day presets, spawn pools, aggression levels, clocks, awards and rules. It cannot bring models, meshes, skins, buildings, dune buggies, weapons or animations, and that is a measurement, not a guess. Every install keeps its art inside .rpack containers (RP6L, 48 GB in Dying Light 2, 51 GB in The Beast, 27 GB in Dying Light 1) plus .csb map bundles; the readable .pak files carry data, not art. Dying Light 1 shares 0 internal paths with The Beast and is a different engine generation, so its Chrome Engine art (including its DW_DLC17 dune buggy) cannot load at all. Dying Light 2 and The Beast share 11,896 paths, but only 50 of them are binary - 42 icons, 6 files and 2 prefabs that are byte-identical in both games. Its 6,854 weapon prefabs, 213 vehicle prefabs, 1,604 creature prefabs, 1,370 animation prefabs and 56,212 map objects exist only in Dying Light 2 and bind art The Beast does not ship, so adding them would make invisible weapons and untextured props, not new ones. What is left is the data layer - which is why this mod is a data mod, and why the day layer above, being data, is in it. The tools that measured this ship with the mod: tools/assets.py, tools/shared.py, tools/hostcheck.py, tools/containers.py.
Everything is read from your own installed copies of the three games at Play time and written into The Beast before it starts. Nothing from those games is copied into this mod: it reads them where they already are, and The Beast's own data0.pak and data1.pak are never touched. What it read, from where, and what it wrote are recorded in %LOCALAPPDATA%\\ThreeNights\\tonight.json and in Dying Light The Beast\\mods\\ThreeNights\\tonight.txt.
Solo. Works on the three games you already own; nothing to install by hand. To undo it, delete the dataN.pak tonight.json names from Dying Light The Beast\\ph_ft\\source\\.
Requires Dying Light: The Beast (host), Dying Light and Dying Light 2 Stay Human, all installed and launched once.
A remix of Three Nights by Dj3400's: the original rotated one city's night per Play; this one runs all three at the same time.
