Play The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe as Super Mario 64's Mario.

Stanley is gone. In his place stands Mario: triple-jumping over cubicles, wall-kicking down hallways and ground-pounding the carpet, while the Narrator carries on telling Stanley's story as if nothing had changed.

• The whole game, as Mario. Every choice, door and ending still works. What changes is how politely you get there.
• Really Mario. His moves, animations, voice and sound effects are Super Mario 64's own code running from your own Super Mario 64 ROM, the one you play in Project64. Nothing from Nintendo's game is in the download.
• Every Stanley figurine is a Power Star, read out of your ROM. Grab one and Mario does his star dance.
• PS5 controller support, with PlayStation button prompts. Xbox pads and keyboard and mouse work too.
• Project64 owners: the mod finds your ROM through Project64, and Mario's A, B and Z also work on the pad buttons you set up there.

Controls: WASD or left stick to move, mouse or right stick to look, Space or the bottom pad button to jump, F or right mouse or the left pad button to punch and dive, Ctrl or the triggers to crouch and ground-pound, E or left mouse or the right pad button to use things. They show on screen when Mario first appears.

You need: The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe on Steam, and your own Super Mario 64 (USA) ROM. Melty finds the ROM on your PC and sets everything else up the first time you press Play (about a minute).
