The Basement Spire

Isaac climbs the Spire. Pick Isaac on Slay the Spire 2's character select and fight through a basement Act 1 with his Tears, Bombs and Soul Hearts.

• Isaac as a new character: 66 HP, a 10-card starting deck (Tear, Soul Heart, Bomb) and The Sad Onion. His energy orb is Isaac's red heart.
• 30 Isaac cards named after his items: Brimstone, Mom's Knife, Dr. Fetus, Tammy's Head, Magic Mushroom, Technology, Spoon Bender, The Wafer, The Virus, 1up! and more, each with Isaac's own item art.
• 7 Isaac items as relics: The Inner Eye, Cricket's Head, The Battery, Halo of Flies, Brother Bobby, Lunch and The Sad Onion.
• A basement Act 1: Gapers, Horfs, Flies, Pooters, Clotty, Mulligan and Maggots, with Fatty and Chub as elites and Monstro as the boss. Acts 2 and 3 are the normal Spire.
• Animated: Isaac and his monsters breathe and sway, flinch when hit and lunge when they attack.
• Isaac's own sounds: his cry, tear shots, Brimstone's laser, Monstro's roar.

All art and sound come from your own copy of The Binding of Isaac (the original Flash game). Each time Slay the Spire 2 starts, the mod opens your Isaac hidden for a few seconds, reads its art and sounds into memory, and closes it again. Nothing from either game is in the download.

Single player. Only Isaac runs get the basement Act 1; the other characters play normally.
