Cruelty Squad combat and movement inside PEAK.
Fight Cruelty Squad enemies while you climb PEAK's mountain. Kill a target in each biome and at the summit, then escape through PEAK's normal ending.
Version 0.3.0 has eleven enemy types, four weapons and twelve implants. Grappendix pulls toward surfaces and launches the player upward. Biothruster and Jetpack give sustained thrust. Pneumatic Legs and Gunk Booster launch away from walls. Chests add food, ammunition, weapons and implants. Six music tracks change with the route. The display uses original Cruelty Squad images.
Each player needs installed copies of PEAK and Cruelty Squad. The mod reads game content into memory from the player's own Cruelty Squad copy. No game assets are included in the download.
Local movement, weapon, chest and animation tests passed. Co-op, every implant combination and the full escape flow remain untested.
Tested with PEAK 2.6.b, Steam build 25739797, and Cruelty Squad build 13357464. BepInExPack PEAK 5.4.75301 is required. Godot and NVorbis notices are included. PEAK and Cruelty Squad content belongs to the respective game owners. Permission to remix is disabled.
