Thirteen Machine Party rounds with Cruelty Squad weapons, organs, implants and music.
How to join the host opens Invite in the lobby, selects a Steam friend, then selects Send Steam invite. The friend accepts the invite. The host starts after all players arrive. Local checks used two copies across the ten rounds and four copies for hunter turns, oil race and organ return. Steam joining from another PC is not yet verified. Melty does not connect players automatically.
Thirteen short party rounds combine Machine Party rules with Cruelty Squad weapons, enemies, organs and implants. Each round has a source music track, with thirteen tracks in total. Machine Party keeps its rooms, briefings, countdowns and score screens. Added text uses its original font and theme. Cruelty Squad models keep their source materials. Four source civilian models replace the party characters. Source sounds cover movement, boosts, kicks, body changes, grapples, oil, reloads and selection. The three new contests use the native cleaner room with new goals and actions, plus source plants and monitors around the arena.
| Round | Play | | --- | --- | | Cortical Kickball | Kick the giant source brain into a rival goal. Move to aim. The first action kicks; hold the second for a Grappendix pull within eight metres. Pull the brain away from a rival or set up your next kick. Goals score for the last kicker; own goals give no point. After a goal, the defender gets the next serve with a short pause. Most goals after 45 seconds wins. Equal totals share points. No player attacks kill. | | Organ Riot | Blast source guards and Orbots with the rocket launcher. Orbots move faster and need two rockets. Collect up to three dropped organs, then return them to your numbered computer to score. Carrying organs slows you down. The first action fires; the second jumps and boosts once in the air. Blasts can kill you and spill your cargo. Return after 1.5 seconds with a short protected period. Most delivered organs after 45 seconds wins. Equal totals share points. | | Abominator Dash | Collect numbered floor hearts and ceiling brains in order. The first action flips gravity with the Abominator. The second gives a short Speed Gland burst, then needs 2.5 seconds to recover. Complete two laps of six organs. A full run ends the race after a one-second finish allowance; otherwise it ends after 45 seconds. Finish order ranks full runs. Other players rank by organs collected. Equal progress shares points. No attacks kill. | | Blast Route | Reach the van before the harvester. Fire three Cruelty Squad rockets at once to clear ammo piles and four guards. Aim with the mouse or right stick. Fire with the first action. A volley takes 1.1 seconds to load. Blasts can hit you. Keep moving between volleys. | | Gunkbooster Crossing | Survive the cleaners. The second action jumps, then boosts twice in the air. Each boost leaves source gunk and draws up to three active cleaners towards it. Change their route, then move away before you land. Land to restore both boosts. | | Sniper Says | Shoot five targets from the swarm of twelve moving grunts. Fire only while the guard looks away. Stop when he watches. The source sniper holds four bullets and fires every 1.5 seconds. Reload with R, the second controller action, or a downward drag with the right mouse button held. A shot while watched gets you killed. | | Grapple Bingo | Collect hearts and brains on tiles that match the displayed implant. Each chosen tile holds six organs: up to 48 per clue with four players. Move to aim. The first action pulls; the second jumps. Cross the gaps, collect organs, then reach a matching tile before the wrong tiles fall. Survive to keep your score. Survivors rank by organs. Equal totals share points; falls score zero. Last survivor wins, or play ends after 60 seconds. | | Cruelty Hunt | Take turns with the source sniper. Four bullets grow back, one every 0.7 seconds. Runners use cover, two air boosts and Cortical Scaledown to reach the exit. A small runner is harder to hit, but one hit is fatal. The first action jumps and boosts. Hold the second to shrink. The sniper marks its fixed aim for 0.35 seconds before firing. Move out of the line or use cover. Each hunter has 45 seconds. | | Office Gun Hunt | Search furniture for the source pistol. Use the three-second light change to hide. Two source guards patrol and search the last seen point after losing sight. Stop with your light off to use the Stealth Suit. The pistol unlocks after the hide period. Face a target and use the first action to fire. A red line marks the fixed aim for 0.45 seconds before each shot. Move aside or use furniture to avoid it. Fire once per second. Firing reveals the Stealth Suit. R reloads. E changes Night Vision. The hunt lasts at most 45 seconds. Survive and shoot rivals to score. | | Grappendix Commute | The train carries source hearts, brains, robots and computers. Read its warning and choose a shelter. Move to aim. Hold the first action for a fast Grappendix pull. Release to brake hard. A red ring marks a closed shelter. The tether does not choose a safe shelter for you. | | Organ Kick | Hearts and heavy brains rain onto each platform. A brain adds two load units; a heart adds one. Face the pile and use the first action to kick up to three organs at once. Clear your platform or send the load to a rival. More than twelve load units starts a 1.5-second collapse warning. Reduce the load to twelve or fewer to stop it. Last player wins. | | Small Body, Big Organs | Return the displayed giant heart or brain before the floor opens. There is one fewer correct organ than players. Shrink with empty hands to take low routes. Grow to lift the cargo. Its weight reduces carry speed by a quarter. The first action picks up; the second changes body size or drops cargo. Correct returns score by arrival order: four, three, then two points. A wrong organ does not score. | | Oil Gland Slalom | Pass five gates in order and finish two laps. Hold the first action for a fast Oil Gland slide. Release to brake. Four source presses block the direct routes. Green means open; red means stop or go around. Presses block movement and do not kill. The yellow gate is next. All players start the same distance from it. The race lasts at most 55 seconds. Scores follow completed gates, then distance. |
Killing is limited to Blast Route, Sniper Says, Cruelty Hunt, Office Gun Hunt, Organ Kick and Organ Riot. Other rounds have no player attacks that kill; their course hazards can still eliminate players. The recipe and gun assembly game is removed. The added health face and health bar remain disabled.
For two to four players. Every player needs Machine Party v2.1.2 and Cruelty Squad installed. Machine Party stays the host. The launcher reads both game folders from Melty. Source models, textures, music, sounds and animation poses come from each player's installed copies. The upload contains no game content.
The local check uses Machine Party Steam build 24734326 and Cruelty Squad Steam build 13357464. The release includes Godot Engine 4.6.3 and its notices. The player's Cruelty Squad engine reads the source content. The local cache is not part of the upload.
