Play your Cyberpunk 2077 save as usual, then press F6 and fight like a Dragon Ball warrior: the real DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO battle is played live inside Night City and Dogtown.
Both games run at the same time. Sparking! ZERO runs its real fight (your hero, its moves, effects, HUD, Japanese voices and music) while Cyberpunk stays the world you are in. The hero is drawn over Night City and Cyberpunk's camera follows the fight.
What you do
- F6 in Cyberpunk: Sparking! ZERO comes to the front. Go to Battle & Training > Super Training > Training, pick the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage and your heroes (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks), then start the battle. As soon as it starts you are back in Night City as your hero.
- Fight with Sparking! ZERO's own controls: fly, dash, charge ki, rush combos, ki blasts, signature attacks, transformations and team switches.
- What you hit in Sparking! ZERO damages the Cyberpunk enemy you were aiming at when you pressed F6.
- F6 again: back to Cyberpunk, V returns where they stood. The fight stays open behind, so the next F6 drops you straight back in.
You need
- Cyberpunk 2077 (Phantom Liberty recommended for Dogtown), in Windowed Borderless mode.
- DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO installed on Steam. The mashup finds it by itself; without it Cyberpunk starts normally and tells you so in game.
- A PC that can run both games at once.
Good to know (first version)
- Solo only.
- V cannot be hurt while Dragon Ball mode is on. Saving is locked during it too (this lock is new and lightly tested: keep a manual save).
- Tested mostly with Goku; Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks use the same path.
- The hero is an image layer: it does not collide with Night City's walls, and Sparking! ZERO's ground does not follow Cyberpunk's terrain.
- Other stages work but the Hyperbolic Time Chamber gives the cleanest picture.
- Nothing from either game is included: each player uses their own installed games.
