Press Play to host; friends press Join on your game in Melty and land in your world. PvP is on, like normal Rust. Your game is friends-only and stays off Rust's public server list. Friends outside your home network can reach you when your router allows it (UPnP); otherwise forward UDP 28015 to your PC. Windows may ask you to let the Rust server through the firewall the first time you host.
Needs Rust and 7 Days to Die installed (friends who join need both too, but not the server download). The first Play takes a while: Melty downloads Rust's free dedicated server (about 6 GB, from Steam) and the Carbon mod framework, then builds the map once. After that each Play starts the server in about a minute and drops you straight in. Your world is saved in %LOCALAPPDATA%\RustDays.
