Dead Santos

Dead Santos turns GTA V's Story Mode into a 7 Days to Die survival nightmare. Everything zombie comes from your own 7 Days to Die install while you play, so nothing from either game is shipped.

What you get

• The city has fallen: no people or traffic, a city-wide blackout, grey fog, burnt-out wrecks in the streets, and no police.
• 7 Days to Die's zombies: about 150 7DTD zombie types (Arlene, Feral Joe, Radiated Cop, Lab Worker...) with their real 7DTD names, health, speed, damage, XP and loot chance, colour-coded by tier.
• Realistic corpses: torn clothes, stacked gore and wounds, soaked-in blood and mud. Radiated, Charged and Infernal zombies glow like they do in 7DTD.
• They act like zombies: they lurch at you with arms reaching out, and every hit is a two-handed grab at you or your car, at 7DTD's own reach and damage. When a horde catches a survivor, they crouch over the body and feed until you come close.
• Feral Sense, always on: they always know where you are.
• Special infected: Screamers that call in scout hordes, Demolishers and Cops that explode, Cops that spit acid, zombie dog packs, wolf packs with Dire Wolves, Feral Wights, and Zombie Bears (on GTA's mountain-lion body, since GTA has no bear).
• Every night: a wandering horde chases a fleeing survivor through the streets, then comes for you.
• Blood Moon every 7th day: red sky, 7DTD's Blood Moon music from your install, and 7DTD's BloodMoonHorde waves sized for your gamestage.
• Harder with every story mission: your completed GTA missions, days survived and 7DTD level raise your gamestage. Hordes keep growing with no cap.
• Zombie backpacks: search them (E) to roll 7DTD's own loot tables into GTA ammo, weapons, health, armour and cash.
• F9 turns it off and on.

Needs

• GTA V Legacy (1.0.3889.0), Steam or Rockstar launcher copy, Story Mode only. Melty starts it without BattlEye, so GTA Online can't be reached while it runs. Click Story Mode on GTA's landing page.
• 7 Days to Die installed. Dead Santos reads its files and never copies them.
