R.E.P.O.R.T.A.L. remix

A R.E.P.O. × Portal mashup. Every haul starts with one Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device in the truck. Whoever carries it shoots a blue and an orange portal; players, loot, carts and monsters go through and keep their speed.

Rebuilt for R.E.P.O.'s current version (its move to Unity 6).

What you get

• The Portal Gun, Portal's real model and sounds, one per level in the truck. Hold it like any R.E.P.O. item, then E fires blue and right mouse fires orange, where you look.
• Portals you can see through, live, on any flat wall, floor or ceiling big enough, with the game's own fog in the picture.
• Everything travels: you, what you are carrying, thrown loot, carts with their load, and monsters. Speed in is speed out.
• Hold an object out into a portal and the object itself travels through, dropping out of the other side, while you stay where you are.
• It runs on charge: ten portals per charge, recharged at the truck's charging station with energy crystals.
• GLaDOS on the intercom, Portal's radio in the truck, and a Weighted Companion Cube hidden in some levels.

Playing together

R.E.P.O.'s own lobbies, up to six players.

Join through the game: the host starts a game from the main menu, picks a save, and presses Invite in the lobby; friends accept the Steam invite, or use Join Game on the host in Steam. Everyone needs R.E.P.O., Portal and this mashup from Melty.

Portal and everything in it is Valve's: the mod reads it from your own copy of Portal and ships none of it. R.E.P.O. is semiwork's. Originally made by Beck; this version keeps the same features and code, updated to run on the current game. The mod's own code is MIT licensed.
