Portal, Portal 2 Style

Play the original Portal with Portal 2's portal gun, Portal 2's cubes, turrets and buttons, and Portal 2's test-chamber panels.

• The gun: the portal gun in your hands and on its pedestal is Portal 2's model, with Portal 2's firing, portal-opening, fizzle and portal-travel sounds.
• The props: Weighted Storage and Companion Cubes, turrets, floor and pedestal buttons, security cameras and the radio are Portal 2's models. Doors and the cube dropper stay Portal's, so the chambers always open.
• The chambers: the white concrete you can put portals on and the black metal you can't are replaced with Portal 2's white tiles and black metal panels. Where portals go doesn't change, because Portal's maps decide that.

You need

• Portal
• Portal 2

Nothing from either game is in this download. On first Play, the mashup reads the gun, the props and the panels from your own Portal 2 and converts them for Portal's engine, which takes a few seconds. Portal 2's sounds are played straight from your Portal 2. Portal's own files are never changed, and your Portal saves stay the same saves.
