Paint the Overworld Red

A new Minecraft world starts you at the front doors of Paint the Town Red's Biker Bar. Walk in. Everyone minds their own business until you hit someone. Then the whole bar turns on you.

What you get

• The real Biker Bar. The building, its lamps, tables, stairs, balcony and basement are read from your own Paint the Town Red Demo while Minecraft runs. Nothing is rebuilt out of blocks.
• 76 people from the demo, standing and sitting where the demo put them: bikers, the band, the bartender, the cooks, the boxer, the boss and his bodyguards.
• A proper bar brawl. After the first hit some of them go for bottles, mugs, chairs, pool cues, bats and knives. Weapons wear out and break. A couple swing at you at a time while the rest crowd round.
• Paint the Town Red damage, Minecraft controls. Fight with your fists or any Minecraft item. Every hit takes a chunk out of the body where it landed, showing flesh, bone and brain. Arms and legs come off.
• Minecraft's mobs too. Zombies, creepers, cows, villagers and the rest lose chunks the same way, anywhere in the world.
• Blood stays. Square splats land on floors, walls and blocks, and are saved with your world.

What you need

• Minecraft: Java Edition (your own account).
• Paint the Town Red Demo installed from Steam. It is free. The bar, its people and its weapons come from your copy. This version reads the Demo; the full game on its own is not enough. If the Demo is missing, Minecraft still starts and tells you the bar cannot appear.

How to play

Press Play. On Minecraft's title screen press Paint the Overworld Red: New World. Back to the Bar reopens your last world.

Good to know

• Single player.
• Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric. It comes set up in its own Minecraft, so your other worlds and mods are untouched.
• This version has no Paint the Town Red music or sounds, and the bikers' animations are the mod's own.
• The first start downloads Minecraft, so it takes a few minutes.
