Real Minecraft inside GTA V's Los Santos: build, blow things up, fly and fight in both games at once.
Minecraft Java 26.3 runs next to GTA V's story mode and is drawn into it. GTA's camera drives Minecraft's, GTA's ground becomes Minecraft's, and what happens in Minecraft happens in GTA too.
Steve plays in free roam. During a story mission Minecraft pauses and the mission plays as plain GTA, with its own weapons, aiming and hints, and Steve is back as soon as it ends. A new game opens with two missions (the Prologue, then Franklin and Lamar), so on a new game Steve first shows after those. In cutscenes and other scenes GTA directs, GTA's own character acts them.
Melty sets up its own Minecraft the first time (sign in with your Microsoft account once), then starts it with GTA V every time.
Needs Grand Theft Auto V Legacy (Steam, not the Enhanced edition) and Minecraft: Java Edition. Story mode only: GTA Online isn't available while it is installed.
