Sora becomes Steve. Everything Minecraft is read from your own copy of Minecraft: Steve's skin, the items, the sounds, the recipes. It all plays inside KINGDOM HEARTS III's worlds.
F5 switches between first person, third person back and third person front, just like Minecraft. First person puts the camera at Steve's eyes and turns it with the mouse at Minecraft's sensitivity. No orbiting.
Minecraft's hand and items: in first person you see Minecraft's arm and held item, with Minecraft's swing, eating, block and equip animations, plus the view bob.
Minecraft weapons instead of the Keyblade: swords, axes and tools set how hard you hit. The Keyblade and its trails are gone.
Right-click: eat food, or block with a sword for half damage (the Minecraft 1.8 block).
Hotbar, hearts and hunger: the food bar drains as you fight and heals you the way Minecraft does. Falls, drowning and starving hurt.
Crafting with real Minecraft recipes: a 2x2 grid in your inventory (E) and a 3x3 crafting table (hold it and right-click).
Creative mode: type /gamemode creative (T or / opens chat) for Minecraft's Creative inventory with every item, its tabs, search and scrolling. /gamemode survival switches back.
Defeated Heartless can drop Minecraft food, materials and better swords.
Single player. Needs KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind on PC, and Minecraft: Java Edition 1.20.2 or newer that has been launched at least once.
