Live for Speed is your steering wheel for San Andreas.
Press Play and both games open side by side: Live for Speed on the left, GTA San Andreas on the right. Drive your LFS car on any track and whatever CJ is driving in Los Santos copies your speed and steering live, while San Andreas's own radio keeps playing.
How to play
Press Play. LFS opens on the left half of your screen and GTA San Andreas on the right.
In GTA, start or load a game and get CJ into any car (or bike).
In LFS, go to Drive locally (or join a server) and drive. CJ's car in San Andreas follows you.
What it does
Reads LFS's own OutSim telemetry (speed, heading, yaw rate) at 100 Hz.
Moves the car CJ is driving in San Andreas to match: accelerate, brake and steer in LFS and Los Santos follows. San Andreas still handles the hills, walls and traffic.
Keeps GTA running, playing sound and showing its radio while you drive in the LFS window. GTA opens in a window, and clicking into it doesn't open the pause menu.
Free cruising, no missions or police added. Single player.
Good to know
Needs Live for Speed (the free demo works) and GTA San Andreas, Steam version (gta-sa.exe, "v3.00"). Other GTA SA builds open normally, but the mirror stays off.
No game files are changed or shipped. GTA is adjusted only in memory while it runs. LFS's cfg.txt gets OutSim switched on and the window set for the session, then put back when LFS closes.
LFS needs to have been opened once before (so it has its cfg.txt).
