LEGO Marvel Heroes

Play Garry's Mod sandbox as the real LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes minifigures.

When the map loads you pick a hero. Each one is the actual character from your own copy of LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes: model, textures, icon and sound effects are read from your installed game the first time you press Play (about half a minute, once). Nothing from LEGO Marvel is in the download.

Heroes

• Iron Man (Mark 6): left click fires repulsors. Double-tap jump to fly.
• Hulk: left click smashes the ground. Sprint + jump is a huge leap, and landing hard shakes the ground.
• Spider-Man: left click fires a web that yanks props to you. Hold right click to swing from where you aim.
• Thor: left click throws Mjolnir, and it comes back. Double-tap jump to fly.

LEGO rules

• Four hearts instead of a health number.
• Hero powers break props into LEGO studs: silver 10, gold 100, blue 1,000. Studs fly to you and count up.
• Run out of hearts and you fall apart into your own minifigure pieces, drop some studs, and get rebuilt a moment later.
• A LEGO-style chase camera (F4 switches to first person).

The rest of sandbox is untouched: spawn menu, physics gun and tool gun work as usual. F3 reopens the hero picker; take out "Hero Powers" (slot 1) to use powers.

What you need

• Garry's Mod
• LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes, installed from Steam. Without it the game opens as plain sandbox and tells you so.
