Project Zomboid's dead come to Nauvis. The biters are gone; Knox County's dead have replaced them.
You play Factorio. Every time you press Play, Knox Nauvis reads the dead, their animations, items, sounds and music from your own Project Zomboid install and brings them into your factory.
What's in it
Real Zomboid zombies. Their bodies, skins, clothes and animations (walk, crawl, sprint, bite, death) are rendered into Factorio sprites from Zomboid's own 3D models. They groan, scratch and die with Zomboid's sounds.
The horde escalates: Shamblers first, then Lurchers, Crawlers, Sprinters and Rotten Brutes as your noise and evolution rise.
Noise draws hordes. Pollution becomes Noise. Each machine hums a little, and it all builds up across your factory. Gunfire is loud: every shot adds noise and pulls in the dead nearby. A loud base gets hordes; a quiet one can hide. Laser turrets are silent.
Hunger, thirst and tiredness with Zomboid's moodles on your HUD. Eat and drink real Zomboid food and drinks (chips, canned beans, tuna, soup, cola, water) using Zomboid's own values. Rest in a tent.
Bites and the Knox Infection. Hits can scratch, lacerate or bite, with Zomboid's infection odds (bites always infect). Antibiotics fight it; at 100% you die and rise as one of the dead.
The dead keep getting up, unless you burn them or blow them up.
Knox County loot across Nauvis: cardboard boxes, wheelie bins, dumpsters, lockers, military crates and burnt-out cars, drawn with Zomboid's sprites and models. Find bats, axes, crowbars, an M9, a JS-2000 shotgun, ammo, food and medicine.
Crash-landed and hungry: you start beside your ship and a burnt-out car, and the first shamblers are already shuffling your way.
Survivor crafting: planks, nails, rags, bandages, duct tape (melee weapon grip), rain collector barrels that fill water bottles, tents, crates, plus Reloading Bench and Knox Pharmacology research.
