A remix of Knox Nauvis by vincemcmahon.cool. Everything from the original is still here: Project Zomboid's dead replace the biters, noise draws hordes, and you need food, water, rest and antibiotics. This remix adds what Zomboid is really about: towns to loot, and staying alive inside them.
What's different
Knox County towns across Nauvis. Villages, crossroads and main streets: a street with pavement, burnt-out cars, bins and dumpsters, lined with small and large houses, general stores, gas stations and police stations. The first town is 130 to 170 tiles from your crash site, and more appear every few hundred tiles. Walls, floors, doors, windows and furniture are drawn from your own Project Zomboid tiles, turned top-down for Factorio.
Furniture full of loot. Fridges, stoves, kitchen counters, wardrobes, dressers, medicine cabinets, shop shelves, store counters, filing cabinets and police gun lockers, each with its own loot table. Beds are places to rest.
The dead are inside. Every building has a few of the dead waiting in it, and more wander the street.
Doors and barricades. Doors open for you and stay shut for the dead, who have to break them down. Windows break easily. Craft Barricade Planks (2 planks and 4 nails) and click a door or window to nail up to three boards over it. The dead break boards one at a time, and you can mine one back off. You'll hear them thumping on the walls.
Panic, boredom and stress. Panic rises when the dead are close (you'll hear your heartbeat) and makes your aim shaky. Boredom creeps up and eases when you search new containers or read magazines, comics and books. Stress builds while you're infected, panicking, bored stiff or badly hurt. Cigarettes and beta blockers help.
