An ULTRAKILL × Risk of Rain 2 mashup. ULTRAKILL's enemies join the monsters hunting you in Risk of Rain 2, and V1 is a playable survivor with its arsenal, its arms and its movement. Everything of ULTRAKILL's is built from your own installed copy of ULTRAKILL, and its style meter comes along and pays bonus gold.
Single player only. Needs both games on the same PC.
V1, the survivor
V1's own body, wings and weapons, with the gun arm pointed where you aim. The movement animations are V2's, which shares V1's skeleton.
Five weapons, all fifteen variants. Keys 1 to 5 draw a weapon; the same key again cycles its variants, as in ULTRAKILL. Cooldowns keep running while a weapon is put away.
Revolver: Piercer (charged piercing beam), Marksman (coins you can shoot to ricochet into enemies, and coins chain), Sharpshooter (shots that pierce and bounce off walls).
Shotgun: Core Eject (launch the explosive core), Pump Charge (pump for more pellets; a third pump explodes), Sawed-On (hold to rev a chainsaw that shreds and bleeds, let go to launch it on its chain).
Nailgun: Attractor (magnets that pull your nails to them), Overheat (heat sinks for faster, burning nails), JumpStart (a cable that shocks its target after 3 seconds and arcs to 4 more).
Railcannon: Electric (pierces everything), Screwdriver (a drill that makes its target bleed), Malicious (explodes where it lands).
Rocket Launcher: Freezeframe (freeze your rockets in mid-air), S.R.S. Cannon (a heavy cannonball), Firestarter (hold to spray burning fuel).
All three arms, cycled with G: the Feedbacker punches and parries enemy projectiles back, healing you; the Knuckleblaster hits harder with a blast wave; the Whiplash hooks light enemies to you and pulls you to heavy ones.
The movement: a dash on three stamina bars that cannot be hit, a slide on held sprint, a ground slam on sprint in the air, and three wall jumps. No fall damage.
Blood is fuel: V1 does not regenerate. Damage dealt up close heals it.
ULTRAKILL's own HUD icons on the skill bar, and style bonuses for RICOSHOT, PARRY and GROUND SLAM.
The enemies
Six ULTRAKILL enemies, spawned by Risk of Rain 2's own Director alongside its usual monsters:
Filth: fast husk that lunges and bites.
Stray: winds up and throws a hell orb.
Schism: fires a line of six orbs.
Malicious Face: flying stone head with orb volleys and a big explosive blast. From stage 2.
Cerberus: stomps, tackles and throws an explosive orb. Can be the Teleporter boss.
V2: the other machine, a Teleporter boss from stage 2. It strafes while firing its revolver, shotgun and core grenades.
Their real models, textures and animations, with attacks landing on the frames ULTRAKILL's own animation events mark.
They scale like any monster with Risk of Rain 2's difficulty clock.
Style
Kills build ULTRAKILL's ranks from DESTRUCTIVE to ULTRAKILL, drawn with ULTRAKILL's rank art and font.
Every kill pays bonus gold by your rank, from +10% at CHAOTIC to +125% at ULTRAKILL.
