Voidborn's movement, guns and HUD, loose in Dying Light's Harran. Bounce across the rooftops like a madman, crack open chests for Void Caches, and pull Voidborn weapons out of the Void.
Move like a Voidborn
Voidborn's huge jump, heavy-fall arc and full air steering, rebuilt from Voidborn's own character settings.
Slide, dash and up to four wall jumps in a row, all from the start.
Falls hurt 34% less.
Roguelike guns from the Void
Big chests, locked chests, gunsmith and parts chests, steel lockers, toolboxes and airdrops can hold a Bloodrain Valley, Dungeons of Decay or Shadowed City Void Cache.
Holding a cache unlocks four Voidborn weapon blueprints (crafting menu, Weapon tab). Craft one and the cache is spent, so choose wisely.
12 weapons: the Essence Disruptor, Chaosrepeater, Doomscatter and Regal Blade, plus Voidborn's Weapon Aspects as weapons of their own:
Gunslinger: full-auto charged shots.
Ricochet: rounds bounce off walls.
Heavy Rounds, Dynamic Overheat, Heavy Pellets and Ground Slam.
One-tap headshots: any headshot with a Voidborn gun kills.
Voidborn's own names, fire rates, magazines and pellet counts, with damage that keeps Voidborn's balance between the weapons.
Voidborn's HUD
Voidborn's health bar, with its red fill, amber damage trail, border and plate.
Its crosshairs for pistols, rifles and shotguns.
A red Voidborn hit marker.
How it works
Needs Dying Light and Voidborn installed. Press Play in Melty.
Each time, it reads your own Voidborn install and rebuilds Dying Light's scripts and HUD from your own Dying Light files. When you quit, it puts Dying Light's files back.
Nothing from either game is shipped.
Dying Light shows a "modified data" notice at the main menu; press OK.
