Blade & Sorcery on a flat screen, with Half Sword's real mouse-driven physics combat moving your hands and camera.
Play Blade & Sorcery without a headset. Half Sword Demo runs alongside it in a small window, and its real combat system drives you: your mouse moves Half Sword's own arms and camera, and your Blade & Sorcery hands and view copy them every frame.
Everything you see, hit and fight is Blade & Sorcery: its arena, its short sword in your hand, and its enemies. The swings come from Half Sword's physics.
What you need: Blade & Sorcery and Half Sword Demo (free on Steam), both installed. No VR headset.
How it starts: press Play. Blade & Sorcery opens flat in its arena and Half Sword Demo starts in a small window. It clicks through its own menus, enters a quiet fight and links up in about half a minute, then drops behind. When you quit Blade & Sorcery, Half Sword closes itself.
Controls
Your saves are safe: the hidden Half Sword uses a save folder of its own, so your Half Sword progress and settings are never touched. Opened normally, Half Sword plays as usual.
First version. Half Sword's hidden fighter is in a fist fight, so swings have fist weight for now. A raised guard can bring your arm close to the camera. Spells come next.
