GripCraft

White Knuckle's climber, dropped into a live Minecraft survival world.

REMINDER: You CAN interact with chests, crafting tables and other, you just need to be holding an item or block that isn't a tool or your hammer, to make myself clear.

You play in White Knuckle's window with its real hands, grip stamina and physics. The world around you is a real Minecraft: Java Edition world running hidden beside it: its terrain, mobs, day and night, hearts, hunger, inventory and crafting.

What you do

• Pick a world. At launch you get Minecraft's own world list: choose one or create a new one with any seed.
• Climb anything. Each mouse button is a hand. Grip any block face, hang, pull up, let go. Your grip tires the way it does in White Knuckle.
• Break blocks with the Hammer. You always carry one. Select it and White Knuckle's real hammer is in your right hand: a swing that lands cracks the block, and enough swings break it and drop it.
• Use Minecraft's inventory. Hotbar, crafting and chests are Minecraft's own screens. Whatever else you hold sits in one simple grip, and your right hand's button uses it: tools mine, weapons hit, blocks get placed, food gets eaten.
• Survive both games at once. Minecraft's hearts, hunger and mobs, with White Knuckle's grip stamina on top. Falls cost hearts. Go hungry and your grip gives out sooner.

Good to know

• You need both games: White Knuckle on Steam and Minecraft: Java Edition. Nothing from either game is included.
• First start takes a few minutes. Minecraft is set up through the Prism Launcher that comes with GripCraft, which downloads Minecraft and Java.
• Solo only in this version. No rain or thunder yet.
• While GripCraft is installed, White Knuckle starts straight into it. Uninstall it here to play White Knuckle's own modes.
• This is an early version, play-tested on one PC.
