Galactic War: Assault Squad

The Galactic War comes to Men of War: Assault Squad 2. Two new factions join the game: the Super Earth Armed Forces and, for once, the Automaton Legion. Pick a side and fight it out on Men of War's battlefields against the AI.

What you get

• Two new factions, in their own alliances. SUPER EARTH and the AUTOMATONS appear next to Men of War's Allies and Axis, which stay exactly as they were. SEAF rifle squads, shock troopers, EAT teams and tanks face Trooper squads, Raiders, Devastators, Scout Striders and Annihilator tanks.
• Helldivers as elite call-ins. On the Super Earth side, the command-point menu has the Lone Helldiver, the Helldiver Fireteam and the full four-Helldiver Squad, carrying the AR-23 Liberator, M-105 Stalwart, SG-225 Breaker, EAT-17 and P-2 Peacemaker. They're tougher, faster and louder than anyone else on the field.
• HELLDIVERS 2's own sound. SEAF troopers talk with HELLDIVERS 2's SEAF voice lines, Helldivers with Helldiver lines and Automatons with Automaton noises. Their guns fire with the Liberator, Defender, MG-43, Peacemaker and Automaton blasters. Grenades, mortars and artillery hit like G-12 grenades, 380mm barrages and 500kg bombs, and the menus and battles play the HELLDIVERS 2 score.
• Single player against Men of War's AI.

How it works You need both games installed. Nothing from either game is included: the first time you press Play, Galactic War reads the voices, guns, explosions and music from your own HELLDIVERS 2 install (this takes a few minutes) and builds the mod from your own Men of War files. Galactic War switches itself on only while you play it, and your own Men of War mod list comes back when you quit. HELLDIVERS 2 isn't started and isn't changed.

The units still look like Men of War's soldiers and vehicles. This version changes their names, voices, guns and sound. HELLDIVERS 2 models (Helldiver armour and guns first) and a HELLDIVERS 2 style map are planned for updates.
