Dota FPS

Dota 2 on its classic map, played in first person with Counter-Strike 2 guns.

Everything that makes a match Dota stays Dota: lanes, creeps, towers, Roshan, heroes, abilities, items, gold, XP and the Ancient. What changes is how you play your hero:

• First person. You see the world through your hero's eyes and turn with the mouse; WASD to move, Shift to walk, Ctrl to crouch.
• CS2 guns instead of right-click. Glock-18, USP-S, AK-47, M4A4 and AWP, plus the knife: CS2 recoil patterns and spread, magazines, reloads, headshots and fire rates. The real CS2 weapon models, sounds and HUD icons are loaded from your own Counter-Strike 2.
• Buy menu at your fountain. Press B and pay with Dota gold. Your hero's damage and attack-speed items make your bullets hit harder and fire a little faster.
• Your Dota hero in first person. Abilities and items are cast at the crosshair (E, F, G, X; items 4–9, T, V). Hold Tab for Dota's own HUD, scoreboard and a free cursor; Tab + an ability key learns it.
• CS2-style HUD. Health, armor, money, ammo, weapon list, kill feed, crosshair and hitmarkers.

Single player: you on Radiant with Dota's own bots filling both teams (5 v 5).

Requires Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 installed on Windows. CS2 is only read (weapon models, textures, sounds and icons from your copy) and is never started or modified. Nothing runs inside CS2 or touches anti-cheat; Dota runs a normal local custom game.

Known limits in this first version: the weapon model can disappear into walls or trees you stand right next to, and the AWP scope zooms by moving the view forward (Dota has no field-of-view control).
