Kris, Susie and Ralsei fall into Vampire Survivors. Start a run as Kris and the whole game turns Dark World: the party, their moves, the enemies, the ground under your feet and the music all come straight from your own copy of Deltarune.
What you get
- Play as Kris. Kris takes Antonio's slot on the character screen. A run as Kris is a Deltarune run; any other character plays normal Vampire Survivors.
- The whole party at once. You steer Kris while Susie and Ralsei walk behind you in a line, just like in Deltarune.
- Deltarune moves as weapons. Level them up like any Survivors weapon:
- Kris's Sword slashes around the party and cuts through everything.
- Rude Buster: Susie hurls a piercing beam at the nearest enemy.
- Heal Prayer: Ralsei restores your HP.
- Darkners replace the horde. Rudinn, Hathy, Jigsawry, Ponman, Rabbick and C. Round swarm you, and the chest-carrying elites arrive as Lancer, K. Round and King.
- A Dark World stage. The ground becomes the animated purple grass of the Field of Hopes and Dreams, dotted with its candy trees and scarlet trees.
- Deltarune's music. Field of Hopes and Dreams plays through the run, and the boss theme kicks in when a boss shows up.
How to play
Press Play, pick Kris (the first character) in Character Selection, choose a stage and go. Everything else in Vampire Survivors still works: XP gems, chests, passive items and the rest of the weapon pool.
The first start after installing takes a minute or two while the mod loader prepares itself.
You need
- Vampire Survivors (Steam, version 1.16.107 or later)
- Deltarune (Steam). Nothing from Deltarune ships with this mashup: its sprites, sounds and music are read from your own install while you play.
Single player. Tested on Mad Forest; other stages and the evolved forms of the three host weapons have not been tested yet.
