Press F9 and your Dark Souls III character moves and fights like The Doorman from Deadlock. Press it again and you're back to plain Dark Souls III.
In Doorman mode
- The Doorman's own animations, read from your installed Deadlock every time you play: idle, run, sprint, jumps, dash, air dash, slide, wall slide and wall jump, mantle, light and heavy melee, parry.
- Real momentum: chain dash → slide → jump → air dash, wall jumps and slide jumps to build and keep speed. No auto-hop, no speed cap, speed fades if you stop chaining.
- Deadlock's default keys: WASD, Space to jump or mantle, Shift to dash (replaces the roll, same invincibility) or sprint, Ctrl to slide or down-dash, Q for melee (tap = light at 35% of your weapon's damage, hold = heavy at 100%), F to parry.
- Parry like Deadlock: an attack that lands while your parry is up staggers the enemy, just like a Dark Souls parry, so you can riposte.
- A separate movement-stamina bar: more charges at 20, 40 and 60 Dexterity, faster recharge in between.
- No fall damage.
Every other Dark Souls III key keeps working as usual. Bosses and enemies are unchanged.
Needs Dark Souls III 1.15.2 and Deadlock installed. Solo and offline: the game stays off FromSoftware's servers while the mod is loaded. Nothing from Deadlock is included; the mod uses your own copy.
Movement numbers can be tuned in DoormanEdition.ini (in the mod's folder) while you play.
The Doorman and Deadlock are by Valve; Dark Souls III is by FromSoftware.
