MECCHA CHAMELEON's hide-and-seek, played inside Minecraft: Java Edition.
Hiders turn into MECCHA CHAMELEON's own white chameleon, read straight from your Steam install of MECCHA. Paint yourself into the scenery, freeze in a pose, and hope the seekers walk right past you.
Hide
Paint like in MECCHA (B): the eyedropper (Space) takes any colour you can see, the brush paints it onto your body, and a middle click picks up a block's texture so you can stamp stone bricks, planks or leaves onto yourself. Right-drag sizes the brush, C wipes it, V flattens your shading.
Freeze in any of MECCHA's poses (R), picked from its own pose menu with its own icons. Moving stands you back up.
Taunt (H) with MECCHA's whistle if you're feeling brave.
Seek
Seekers are blindfolded for 60 seconds while the chameleons hide, then hunt for 3 minutes with MECCHA's shotgun.
Every miss costs health. Found chameleons join the seekers, as in MECCHA.
Where and with whom
A prepared village arena comes with the mod (/cham start), or play anywhere in your world (/cham here).
Multiplayer: host from Melty and friends join with the link Melty gives them. e4mc gives your world a public address, so there's no port forwarding. A round needs two or more players. In the lobby, G lets you try the chameleon on your own.
MECCHA's own music and sounds: hiding and search music, the search bell, the paint loop, the eyedropper pick, the shotgun and the round-end gong.
What you need
Minecraft: Java Edition (you sign in to Microsoft once in the Prism window).
MECCHA CHAMELEON installed from Steam on each player's PC. ChameleonCraft reads MECCHA's chameleon, poses, icons and sounds from your own copy the first time it starts (a few seconds) and keeps them in a private cache. None of MECCHA's or Minecraft's content is included in this download.
Melty installs everything else: a portable Prism Launcher set up for Minecraft 26.3 with Fabric, Fabric API and e4mc. Keys can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu under ChameleonCraft.
Good to know
ChameleonCraft only reads MECCHA CHAMELEON's files; it never starts or changes MECCHA, so it doesn't touch MECCHA's online play.
It's made for your own worlds and the friends you invite. Don't take a modded client onto public servers whose rules forbid mods; their anti-cheat can kick or ban you.
