Your camp grows into a capital city, the way a Civilization VI city grows turn by turn.
How it plays
On your first long rest a panel asks you to found your capital: name it and choose the first district.
Every long rest is one turn of production.
Finished districts bless the whole party, permanently:
Campus (2 rests): +1 to ability checks
Encampment (3 rests): +1 to attack rolls
Holy Site (2 rests): +1 to saving throws
Market (2 rests): +40 gold every long rest
Wonder: Colossus of Baldur's Gate (5 rests, needs the Market): +1 Armour Class and +60 gold every long rest.
Switch production whenever you like; progress on each build is kept, just like in Civ.
Press \ (backslash) to open or close the city panel. It also opens by itself after each long rest.
Your city is saved with your game.
Good to know
Single player. Baldur's Gate 3 (Patch 8) on Steam.
Melty installs the BG3 Script Extender for you.
Pressing Play runs a small launcher that adds Baldur's Capital to BG3's mod load order, then starts the game. It never removes or reorders your other mods, and the first time it keeps a copy of your old load order (modsettings.lsx.before-campcapital).
Once a save has the mod in it, BG3 needs the mod to load that save.
