hey you, yeah you, are you tired of being defenseless? scared of the dark? no shovel or gun to use?
How to join the host chooses Online and hosts a private Steam crew; friends accept the host's Steam invite with the mod installed on every client. For LAN play, choose the game's LAN menu. Internet play uses native Steam networking; no external server or port forwarding is needed.
Take GROUND BRANCH's real guns on Lethal Company's scrap runs, solo or with a crew of up to four.
Every crewmate starts with a free G19 pistol and 30 rounds. Buy HK416, M14 EBR and M1014 guns and ammunition through the ship terminal's STORE, using the crew's ordinary in-game credits. Guns come empty; ammo is sold separately. Purchases go straight to the buyer's personal ship locker. Death loses your kit and gives you an empty replacement pistol.
Type GUNS or AMMO for the armoury catalogue, choose a gun or ammo pack, then CONFIRM or DENY. Press F6 aboard ship to cycle guns you own, F7 to raise or sling, and R to reload. Your mapped item-use and scan controls fire and aim. Sling the gun to use normal items and carry scrap; two-handed scrap blocks weapon use. Ammunition stays finite when you switch guns. Weapons and ammo last for the current session.
Shots make noise, walls block them, and enemies follow the game's own damage and immunity rules. Friendly fire can kill crewmates. The host checks shots, purchases and ammunition. Weapon handling uses timed reloads, without imported hand animations.
Every player needs installed copies of Lethal Company and GROUND BRANCH, plus this version of the mod. GROUND BRANCH does not need to run: the mashup reads its weapon models, textures and sounds from each player's own copy. No game assets are included in the download.
