A remix of Zomboid Outbreak: Los Santos by Rey dios: all credit for the idea and the mashup goes to them. This version fixes what got in players' way. What happens in the game is the same as their 0.2.0.
GTA V Legacy, Story Mode only. Its plugin reads your own Project Zomboid's survival kit (baseball bat, hammer, tinned beans and soup, bandage, plank, nails, saw) and starts the Los Santos safehouse session. It ships none of Project Zomboid's files, so you need Project Zomboid installed too.
What's different
Finds your Project Zomboid wherever it is. The original only looked in Steam's main folder, so Zomboid in a second Steam library (another drive) was never found. Now it uses the folder Melty knows, then every Steam library.
Reads all of Zomboid's items, Build 41 and Build 42. The original never opened Build 42's food file, and two of its item names (CannedBeans, CannedSoup) don't exist in Zomboid. They're now Zomboid's real TinnedBeans and TinnedSoup, so all 8 items are found.
Installs one file instead of three. The original also put the mod loader's own settings files in GTA V's folder. Those changed how every other mod on Melty's loader starts, and stayed active even while this mashup was off. They're gone.
Keeps its log out of GTA V's folder, so it still logs when that folder is protected.
Good to know
If GTA V is installed where Windows only lets administrators change files (usually under Program Files), Melty can't put the mod there. Every GTA V code mod needs a file in that folder.
It can't be installed together with a mashup that ships its own copy of the loader file (dinput8.dll) instead of Melty's shared one, such as Minecraft x GTA V: Trying Fixs. Remove that one first.
Melty starts GTA V in Story Mode with Rockstar's own -nobattleye switch, only for this play, so the mod never reaches GTA Online.
