XHair Forge turns Blender into a crosshair workshop and puts your design on screen with X-Magnifier running. Two programs, one tool: you build inside Blender, the workshop reads your own installed X-Magnifier, and your crosshair appears over everything on your desktop and in your games.
What you get
Parametric parts — center dot, four lines (length, width, gap, angle), two optional diagonals and a circle (radius, thickness, filled or open), each with its own colour.
Any shape — import an SVG, import an image (PNG/JPG/WebP/BMP), or capture a flat 2D mesh or curve straight from your Blender scene.
Animated crosshairs — spin, pulse and breathe, drawn live at 30 fps while the overlay is on.
One-key toggle — Ctrl+Alt+X shows or hides the crosshair over every program and game. It is click-through, topmost and never steals focus.
Free placement, centred by default — numeric offsets, a centre button, or snap it to the exact centre of X-Magnifier's live window.
Live X-Magnifier link — the workshop shows your X-Magnifier build number and its own wording for the crosshair module, read from your install while both programs run, and the overlay only appears while X-Magnifier is running (with a switch to work without it).
Tactical HUD in the 3D viewport: live preview, X-Magnifier status, overlay state, animation mode.
Presets saved as small JSON files in your own XHairForge folder.
How to use it
Press Play in Melty — Blender opens with the workshop installed and X-Magnifier starts beside it.
In Blender open the 3D Viewport sidebar (N) and the XHair tab.
Build your crosshair, pick an animation, press Ctrl+Alt+X — it is now over everything on screen.
Required games
Blender — the host: the workshop is a normal Blender addon.
X-Magnifier — the companion: started alongside, and read live by the workshop.
