Call SWAT on your own household: the raid plays in your SWAT 3, and what happens comes home to The Sims 3.
Your Sims have a problem. SWAT has a warrant.
Live your Sims' lives in The Sims 3. When things go wrong at home, click one of your Sims and choose SWAT Your Sims... > Call SWAT. The call is played out in your own copy of SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year Edition, on its residence map, with your household inside, each Sim under their own name, and a briefing written for your family and your street address.
The first time you load a household, SWAT Your Sims asks where they live: keep your home, move into one of four ready-made homes from your own town (starter to luxury, with §20,000), or build your own on an empty lot with §20,000 or unlimited funds. The household then stays on its lot: Sims who wander off are sent home, while work and school are fine.
Every call is the next mission of SWAT 3's "SWAT Your Sims" career (Career > New, pick the SWAT Your Sims campaign), played by SWAT 3's own career team: a leader and four officers. If SWAT 3 is already open, it reopens with the new call when you quit it.
The outcome comes back by itself when you save the career after the debrief (Ops, then Save: that's when SWAT 3 writes it down). Played the raid another way? File it in The Sims 3 with SWAT Your Sims... > Raid report, or drop the call with Cancel SWAT call. SWAT team record keeps count of calls, arrests and rescues.
Solo.
